Alex has enjoyed great success in her careeer as an International Event Rider having featured multiple times in the top 50 riders in the country. Her greatest success has been clear rounds and top half finishes at Burghley 5 star where she won Best International First Timer and Best British First Timer. This has added to other achievements such as Young Rider European Silver medal, Scottish National Intermediate Champion, many International wins and placings up to 4 star including a Top 10 placing in the British Open CIC*** at Gatcombe. Alex has always enjoyed producing young horses resulting in wins at Burghley and Osberton Young Horse Championships. She has produced many horses over the years to feature in the top 10 in the age national championships, including having horses selected for the 7 year old world championships. Producing young horses has helped Alex to top the Foundation Points Leaderboard 3 times, the only rider to do so.

Alex started riding at an early age catching the horsey bug off her mother. She started in the Pony Club doing all the usual activities, as well as working hunters. Both led to success- gaining a place on the England team in workers alongside riding at RIHS and HOYS, and winning the Pony Club Eventing Championships. The path was set that a career in Eventing was what Alex wanted to do. After representing GB in Barrocca D'Alva on the Young Rider European Team Alex gained a degree in Equine Science before starting to ride professionally from her family home in Lincolnshire. She has gained experience along the way from spending time with the late Caroline Pratt and riding for many top producers including many years with Judy Bradwell.

Looking to the future, after a fantastic 2019 season on her top ride Denver VIII where the pair were selected to compete in Holland as part of the British contingent at Boekelo CCI-L 4star, 2021 is set to be an exciting year.
